Log-landing at Outer Creek

The segment #5 “Outer Creek log landing” shows another important scene of a logging railroad. Once the trees are down, the logs were brought to the log landing where they are stored until they are shipped by the log trains.

Anyway, 35 trees are still standing on this segment and there’s also a small house for the loggers, at least to store their equipment and tools. This structure was built from an Auhagen kit as well as the out house.

Possible applications :

This segment can be connected at the D-type end of segment 2, 3 & 4. It will finally end in a fiddle yard to the right.
