Tiny progress from last weekend
Hello,
at the moment, most progress on my Hon30 logging railroad is done in the back ground. I spend a couple of thoughts about my rolling stock and the idea of having a railroad museum parallel to the forestry railway. At least, I sold some models, get rid of the “Palatinate Coal & Lumber” and did some other changes. More will be posted during the next weeks, when the new concept is finished.
Meanwhile, I did some tiny progress last weekend. I made a sign for my Hon30 layout from scrap wood and paper letters. The sign is 80cm long and fits inside the layout storage boxes.
Last Saturday, we went to a model train show and I finally gut some nice coal baskets to complete the coal deck on my layout.
“Jupiter” hauling log trains
Hello,
last Sunday, I steamed up my 009 live steam loco to haul some log trains on my Hon30 layout. I ran 3 boiler fills of water and had a lot of fun as well as warm fingers :-)

Black is beauty – Climax #4
Hello,
once the paint was dry, I started to reassemble the Climax and also added the simple livery of the PC&L locos as #4.
Now I’ve three locos ready for service on my U.S. division of the logging layout. More engines are planed during 2015.
Climax in black
Hello, I found some minutes today to paint the Climax. I disassembled her to singe part groups and used the airbrush to get her painted black grey. Now I’ve to wait until the paint is finally dry… I really like to assemble her back together soon… Cheers, Gerd
New U.S. steam loco in Hon30

I installed DCC with working headlight on this one and first used my PC&L livery/paint scheme on this loco. It’s based on the Argent […]
